What it is

TrendLock is the portfolio anchor: a slower-moving systematic signal layer that combines trend, calendar, and crisis-response components.

What is live

The live record is labeled separately from component research and backtests. Public numbers should map to the performance API, not stale copy.

What can go wrong

Trend systems can lag turns, whipsaw in chop, and underperform during sideways regimes. Crisis components may sit idle for long periods.

How to use it

Subscribers use TrendLock as an operating layer: what the current signal says, what changed, and what risk state the system is in.

Plain English caveat

Live does not mean magic.

TrendLock can lose money, miss moves, lag reversals, and underperform buy-and-hold during some regimes. The point is not a guarantee. The point is a repeatable operating process with evidence labels that survive scrutiny.
